To bring together the best of both worlds, we've spent countless hours researching genetics and temperament with a single aim: to create the ideal companion. Using a careful breeding process that involves crossing different domestic dog breeds, we strive to produce dogs that resemble the majestic appearance of a wolf while maintaining the gentle disposition of a beloved pet.

Our mission is to create an Australian Wolfalike dog that embodies the perfect balance of loyalty, affection, and wild beauty. Through careful breeding and a commitment to ethical practices, we believe we can offer pet owners a unique and unforgettable experience with a Tikaani Wolfalike.

Exploring Wolfalike Breeding in the UK and Europe: Tikaani's Journey

In 2018, we had the incredible opportunity to travel to the UK and Europe to meet some of the world's most exceptional breeders of Wolfalikes, Wolfdogs, Northern Inuits, and Tamaskans. Witnessing their dedication and passion for their dogs was truly inspiring, and we fell in love with these magnificent creatures.

Since then, Tikaani has developed strong relationships with breeders from around the world, and we're proud to be a member of the International Wolfalike Companion Registry, which was founded in 2017.

However, importing these breeds to Australia has become increasingly difficult due to strict restrictions. As a result, Tikaani made the decision to create Wolfalikes locally by breeding domestic dog breeds that are readily available in Australia. We're committed to producing healthy puppies with balanced temperaments, prioritizing the well-being of the parents and the future of our Wolfalikes.

Our breeding program involves a range of recognized breeds, including Siberian Huskies, German Shepherds, Alaskan Malamutes, and Samoyeds, which we carefully select and cross to achieve the desired wolf-like appearance. While we strive to create a breed that captures the spirit of the wolf, what's most important to us is the health and happiness of the dogs we breed and the satisfaction of the families who welcome them into their homes.
